More than just a boating community, Solomons Island welcomes thousands of visitors each year just to sample southern Maryland’s best crabcakes, and take a sunset stroll along its spectacular Riverwalk. They come to shop for antiques or nautical treasures. They stay at historical inns and Victorian B&B’s that line the downtown streets. In the evenings, they enjoy the open-air waterfront clubs. And, of course, they tour the museums, sculpture gardens and seaside parks in and around Solomons Island.
