At Home

Even if you never step foot off land, you'll love the lifestyle. You can walk, bike or jog, every morning along nearly 120 acres of community walkways from the water's edge to the edge of a forest. You can step onto a crabbing pier or into a state of the art fitness center. Meet friends at the pool or welcome guests in a clubhouse overlooking the Bay. It's a resort lifestyle that goes on seven days a week 365 days a year.

Take advantage of surrounding neighborhood amenities including: boat slips, floating transient dockage & pool at Calvert Marina, waterfront dining, live music & free docking at Four Winds Café or The Back Creek Bistro, full service repair & dry storage at Washburn’s Boat Yard.

More than just a boating community, Solomons Island welcomes thousands of visitors each year just to sample southern Maryland's best crabcakes, and take a sunset stroll along its spectacular Riverwalk. They come to shop for antiques or nautical treasures. They stay at historical inns and Victorian B&B's that line the downtown streets. In the evenings, they enjoy the open-air waterfront clubs. And, of course, they tour the museums, sculpture gardens and seaside parks in and around Solomons Island.

Only 45 nautical miles South of Annapolis, Solomons Island is situated in what is called the middle bay. The Chesapeake waters surrounding this idyllic location are known as some of the cleanest in the entire Bay. So, it's no surprise, here you'll find a sport fisherman's paradise teeming with everything from 12 "inch Perch, Croaker and Mackerel, to Blue fish, Striped Bass and Atlantic Sturgeon stretching up to 7 feet. The Island also boasts four marinas, which can accommodate vessels up to 74 feet.
